Brian Fuentes is a native Houstonian and serves as a Senior Project Manager for the Office of Commissioner Rodney Ellis (OCRE). In his current role, he facilitates public meetings and engages with community members, building on his experience working with teams to coordinate public outreach across all four Harris County precincts during his tenure with the Office of the County Engineer. Strengthening communication among the public, stakeholders, consultants, contractors, and clients has been a consistent focus throughout his career.

With more than 23 years of experience in serving the public, Brian has held roles including Inspector, Chief Inspector, Construction Manager, Construction Program Manager, and Senior Project Manager. He currently provides program and construction management oversight for projects within Precinct 1. This experience has allowed him to work alongside multiple design teams and support community engagement activities throughout the full project lifecycle—from initial planning to project closeout, including ribbon-cutting events. Beyond his immediate responsibilities, Brian remains committed to supporting disaster recovery efforts and advancing new project opportunities that contribute to a stronger, more resilient future for the community.
