Volunteer at a local animal shelter by helping walk dogs, providing exercise, socialization, and enrichment to support their health and increase their chances of adoption.

We will go over our policies/rules for dog walking at 4pm, so please make sure to arrive on time. Anyone arriving after instructions are given will not be able to walk dogs.

Dress Code

• No shorts.
• No open toe/open back shoes.
• Pants must not be ripped (paws will get tangled).
• No sleeveless or crop tops. Feel free to wear your group shirt if you have one, if not we can provide our group aprons.
• All belongings such as purses and backpacks must be left in vehicles as we cannot hold them for participants.

Description of Duties

Group sessions consist of walking dogs of different sizes and temperaments outside in the backyard for a duration of 2 hours. If the group finishes early, we unfold newspaper for the time remaining.
