Volunteers Needed

Its our annual outreach event at the Science Mill. We’re seeking volunteers to help set up and run fun STEM based activities for the kids.

We’ll need about 15 volunteers for the morning and 15 for the afternoon. (30 Total!) The Science Mill is a great children’s museum and you are welcome to bring your kids.

Engineering week at the Science Mill is an engaging event where kids learn engineering through play. Various interactive stations are set up throughout the science mill with volunteers overseeing activities that range from building bridges with spaghetti and marshmallows, plastic cup towers, and assembling 3D shapes with straw constructor toys, among others. The numerous science mill exhibits also offer additional opportunities for hands-on learning.
