YM Networking Shuffle

Attention all ASCE Texas Younger Members!

Since we are all experiencing various levels isolation as a result of the current global situation, the Texas Section Younger Member (YM) Committee thought we needed something to bring people together. ASCE Texas YM is excited to start, for the first time, a virtual networking opportunity that will bring the Texas YM community together called the Networking Shuffle.

Early 2021, be on the lookout for an email from the Texas YM group with a link to a participation form. This online form will ask you about your field, location, interests, and which months you would like to participate. You will be matched based on this information. Sometime during the year’s first quarter, the paired individuals will be notified, and it will be up to them to coordinate on a convenient time and meeting platform that works for both. These meetings will be informal, we will send out general sample questions but ultimately, it is up to you to decide what to talk about. We have made the sign-up process as easy as possible to try and make interesting pairings, advancing networking within the ASCE Texas YM community. After your initial meet-up, we leave it up to you to continue after that.

During these unprecedented pandemic times, we must remind ourselves that it is as important as ever to stay connected. We hope this will be just the event to help you stay connected!
