Texas Celebrates ASCE Day
ASCE Day celebrates the Society’s founding on November 5, 1852. Twelve esteemed engineers gathered at New York City’s Croton Aqueduct to establish what would become the American Society of Civil Engineers. This year, to celebrate ASCE Day, members across Texas shared their favorite ASCE memories on social media. We loved reading the many reasons ASCE is important to our members. Below are some of the #ASCEDay posts we saw cross our feed.
Happy #ASCEday! Some of our favorite @ASCETweets memories from the past year are winning the Outstanding Large Branch award, hosting #MRLC19 for Regions 3, 6, & 7, attending #CECON with @TEXASCEtweets, and hosting our two #CEclub schools at an #ASCEdallas Branch luncheon! pic.twitter.com/OYgJrM2xxF— ASCE Dallas (@ASCEdallas) November 5, 2019
