The Texas Section invites you to join us at the 2022 annual Texas Section Younger Member Camping Trip! It will take place at McKinney Falls State Park in Austin, Texas on April 29-May 1, 2022. Younger Members will meet at McKinney Falls to camp, hike, network, share stories, and learn about what other young professionals are doing across the state of Texas. Its going to be an exciting 3-day adventure and we would love for you to join us!

The weekend will start out on Friday evening where everyone from across Texas will be driving into McKinney Falls. We will set up camp, pitch tents and prepare a delicious street taco dinner. Everyone will relax by the fire, introduce themselves and share stories about their ASCE experiences.

Saturday will be our big day for activities! In the morning we will prepare a hearty breakfast of yogurt, fresh fruit, oatmeal, omelets, bacon, sausage, pancakes as well as vegetarian options. Later that morning we will begin our activities, which can include (but not limited to): hiking, swimming, biking, geocaching,  and climbing. In the evening, we will return to camp for a satisfying grilled hamburger / hotdog dinner. Afterwards, we will sit by the fire and tell campfire stories while roasting marshmallows and assembling smores. We can play board games before we rest for the night.

Sunday morning, we will serve breakfast one last time and pack everything up to return to our respective homes.

Our goal is to provide everyone an enjoyable camping experience where friends are formed through shared bonds with ASCE, making it a truly memorable experience.
