      Identify the environmental benefits achieved when using FRP reinforcements.


      Gain knowledge of concrete pavements designed with FRP rebar for development of sustainable infrastructure.


      Understand how using FRP rebar provides safer public facilities.


Lawrence (Larry) Goldberg, P.E. serves as Regional Sales Director for Neuvokas Corporation, bringing with him over 34 years of civil engineering experience.

Prior to joining Neuvokas, Mr. Goldberg served as Executive Vice President of Landev Engineering for 3 and half years. Prior to Landev Mr. Goldberg was a partial owner in an engineering software company for nearly six years. Prior to that, Mr. Goldberg enjoyed 24 successful years of providing civil engineering consulting services. His experience spans design, management, and construction of public and private infrastructure, residential and commercial developments, transportation, and flood control projects.  Below is a summary of Mr. Goldberg’s involvement with Civil Infrastructure:

·         Infrastructure projects associated with commercial developments throughout Texas; residential subdivisions; schools; universities; and public projects, including airports, ports, roadway (major thoroughfares, collectors, and residential streets), highways, water systems, wastewater systems, storm water drainage, storm water quality, and storm water detention facilities

·         Major public engineering and construction management projects for Harris County, City of Houston, Texas, and City of Phoenix, Arizona.

·         Established relationships with state and municipal governments, and regulatory agencies

·         Technical expertise and business development capabilities

·         ASCE Houston Branch President 2000-2001

·         ASCE Texas Section – Numerous positions and board member.  Will be holding the following positions: President Elect for 2016-2017, President 2017-2018, Past President 2018 - 2019

Lawrence holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from Texas A&M University Zachry Department of Civil Engineering (Class of ’81), and is a licensed engineer in the state of Texas (No. 63531).
