Speaker
Luke Cooper, Geophysicist, Lina T. Ramey & Associates
An industry transplant from oil and gas to transportation and utilities, Luke has worked in seismic signal processing for 11 years and applied these skills to advance Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR) for 5 years at Utility Mapping Services, Inc. and Lina T. Ramey & Associates. He has experience in both single and multi-channel units, the processing workflow, and anomaly identification. As one of the first persons to apply multi-channel GPR nationally to multi-mile, 3D modelled utility projects, Luke has had the great opportunity to process and/or acquire 2D & 3D mapping projects spanning:
- HART, HI: Light Rail Installation
- Deadwood, SD: Historic Culvert Identification
- LAX Airport: ITF West/ATF Expansion
- FHWA SHRP2 Study: Custer Ave. Helena, MT
- DFW Airport: Terminal A & C Site Clearances
