Speaker: Kirk Larson, Director of GIS Operations, SAM’s Missouri Office

Kirk Larson is the Aerial/GIS Office Manager for SAM’s Missouri office. Prior to joining SAM, Mr. Larson served as Sr. Vice President and managing partner at Midland GIS. Since 2005, Kirk has overseen the development and implementation of more than 200 municipal and utility GPS projects.

His experience includes working in local government as a GIS Coordinator and in the private sector in various project management roles. Mr. Larson is responsible for working closely with various levels of client personnel and stakeholders to solidify the scope of work and contractual obligations. On a daily basis, he assists with project management tasks and ensures that project staff, technical planning, project schedules, budgeting, client communication and quality control expectations are being met and/or exceeded.
