Austin Branch Monthly Science Thursday

March 12 @ 9:30 am - 2:00 pm CDT

ASCE Austin Branch will host their next Monthly Science Thursday at Bob Bullock History Museum on Thursday, March 12th from 9:30 AM – 2 PM. Sign up today to help facilitate science based activities with kids from Central Texas area.

Activities include: Buoyancy (floating bowling balls and sinking “cargo ships”), design-build-race boats, physics with lassos and roping, and more.

Most students will be either in 4th or 7th grade and there should be at least one adult with every 10 students. Number of students varies based on number of field trips planned for that day. Parking is free for Science Thursday volunteers in the garage below the museum. Science Thursday T-shirt will be provided if you don’t have one. When Science Thursday concludes, you are welcome to visit the museum’s exhibits.

Contact Linda Barlow if you have additional questions. Thank you!
