Texas Section Awards and Honors

The following awards were established by the Texas Section-ASCE with the objective of advancing the engineering profession through the recognition of those engineers who provide exemplary service to the Section and the general public through their work and their gifts of time and service. Award Winning Civil Engineering Projects in Texas
The following awards recognize significant civil engineering projects, past and present.

Texas Historic Civil Engineering Landmark
Preserving knowledge, acknowledging civil engineers and reminding the public of the role civil engineering plays in their lives are some of the objectives accomplished by recognizing projects that were completed in earlier times. Texas Section History and Heritage Committee Chair: Melinda Luna PE.

Texas Outstanding Civil Engineering Achievement Award
The Texas OCEA Award may be given on an annual basis to a completed project that demonstrates the greatest contribution to civil engineering progress and to society which was designed and/or built in Texas. Texas Section Past Presidents Council Chair: Crespin Guzman PE.
