The following awards were established by the Texas Section-ASCE with the
objective of advancing the engineering profession through the recognition of
those engineers who provide exemplary service to the Section and the general
public through their work and their gifts of time and service. Click on the

Texas Historic Civil Engineering Landmark
Preserving knowledge, acknowledging civil engineers and reminding the public of the role civil
engineering plays in their lives are some of the objectives accomplished by recognizing projects

Texas Outstanding Civil Engineering Achievement Award
The Texas OCEA Award may be given on an annual basis to a
completed project that demonstrates the greatest contribution to civil
engineering progress and to society which was designed and/or built in Texas.
