Members converse at a Section Meeting

Texas Section Membership is available to all members of ASCE residing in Texas.

As a Texas Section member, you receive the following benefits (in addition to your benefits as an ASCE member):

  • Four copies of the award-winning magazine Texas Civil Engineer (instead of only two)
  • Reduced registration fees for Section Meetings
  • Branch newsletters and meeting information
  • The opportunity to be recognized by your peers
  • Access to certain parts of the Texas Section website that are restricted to the general public

Total Dues include $45.00 for the Texas Section plus dues for the Branch within whose boundaries you reside. For a list of Counties located within each Branch area, select the Branch nearest you from the left menu. To join the Texas Section you can go online at ASCE, or send a check for the combined Section/Branch dues to:

American Society of Civil Engineers
1801 Alexander Bell Drive
Reston, VA 20191-4400

Make your check payable to "American Society of Civil Engineers" and note at the bottom "Texas Section/Branch dues." Contact the Texas Section office (512) 472-8905 with any questions.

If you are not an ASCE member, you will need to join ASCE before you can join the Texas Section. Online applications for all categories of membership are available on the ASCE website. If you would rather have an application sent to you, please contact the Texas Section Membership Committee Chair, Chris G. Clayton, (281) 558-8700. Be sure to mark "Texas Section" on your application when you send it in.

Thank you for considering Texas Section membership.
